A young man, fresh off a couple of bad relationships, hits the road just like his musical heroes. Bringing his guitar and microphone he travels 2000 miles in his old pickup truck going from town to town, where he plays at local venues and learns about life "On The Road" and himself. Brad Schlain 

Brad was born in the 1950's in sunny southern California . He got his first drum set at age 13 (Ludwig drums like Ringo) and declared " I want to play and sing on the radio like The  Beatles". 

He starting writing songs at age 17.  

At 24 went on a short  "On The Road" gig playing  with a trio. 

 In 1983, with lifelong best friend, Craig Michael Ruppert, they wrote their own song about what so many other musicians had experienced on the road. 

Dormant for 43 years it was finally “brought to life”in 2026. At the age of 76, Brad finally recorded it. 

“Worth the Wait" he says. 

Production Notes 

Work began at Enfield Studios on February 4, 2026. The Amazing Musician, Engineer - Co Producer Jason Gutierrez at the helm. With an initial 6 hours,   tracks were laid down by singer guitarist Denny Gerard on Guitar and backing vocals and Jason Gutierrez on lead, rhythm,  bass guitar and drum programming . Then came  vocals and harmonies by Brad.  Later sessions brought Steve Goomas in on piano and further additional electric and acoustic guitars and  organ by Jason

In total 14 sessions crafted the song into the first song recorded by Brad that was released to the public. (It had to be perfect) 

On May 28 Rocky Road was officially declared finished  and in June the song was uploaded and set for release on July 6.
